The Commission Process
1. Share Your Idea
Every design piece starts with a great concept. Is it for yourself, a special occasion, or a gift? You can share inspiration, color palettes, themes, or photos of the space where the piece will live. If you’re unsure of the details, that’s perfectly fine—we can develop the idea together.
2. Design Direction
Based on your inspiration and preferences, I’ll develop a creative direction for the piece, considering fabric textures, composition, color harmony, and scale.
3. Proposal & Quote
You’ll receive a proposal outlining:
- approximate size
- materials and textile techniques
- estimated timeline
- pricing
Once approved, a deposit secures your commission.
4. Creation
Your piece is carefully crafted by hand, using selected fabrics and stitching techniques. During this stage, I may share progress photos so you can see the artwork take shape.
5. Final Artwork Delivery
Once completed, your bespoke textile artwork is carefully finished and prepared for delivery or shipping. The result is a lasting, one-of-a-kind heirloom designed to your exact specifications.
